Screening is the process of identifying a medical problem at it’s early stage, when treatment and management is much easier. A regular medical examination gives you useful information about your health and can sometimes also highlight familial or genetic conditions. Advice will be provided with regard to the management of any short-term and long-term medical problems.

Faecal Occult Blood
Supplementary tests may be suggested and arranged in certain cases. These tests may need to be carried out in a local hospital and will carry an additional charge in that hospital, for example:
Chest Xray
Stress/ Exercise ECG
Dexa Scan
Ultrasound Scan
Mini Medical
This is a screening medical for well/asymptomatic women rather than a consultation and includes:
– Cardiovascular assessment
– Breast examination and referral for ultrasound/mammogram if deemed necessary
– Cervical smear test if eligible under cervical check
– Fasting bloods including blood count, kidney, liver, thyroid, b12, folic acid, iron, cholesterol, diabetes tests.
If you have symptoms and require a consultation please let us know as the time of booking as a mini-medical may not be the most appropriate appointment for you.
